Temporary Shortage in Canada
There is a temporary shortage of Cupermine in
Canada, however Valeo Pharma Inc. is able to access the American supply.
The shortage is due to a packaging change made by Aton Pharmaceuticals and the
product is going through the approval process in Canada.
To access the drug, please follow the directions
below (all instructions come with the form):
To
request any SAP products (Special Access Programme), the doctor needs to fill
out the SAP form available here, found on Health Canada’s
website, and fax it to them. Within days, Health Canada will fax us
(the distributor, Valeo Pharma Inc.), a letter of authorization and we will ship the
order to the address provided. SAP products are shipped directly to the doctor’s
office or hospital pharmacies.
