How to Obtain Cuprimine
and Syprine

















 

 

 

HOW TO OBTAIN CUPRIMINE OR SYPRINE

To Purchase Cuprimine or Syprine:

If you are interested in purchasing Cuprimine or Syprine, and cannot obtain it from regular sources:

  1. 1.) Call the Merck Sharp & Dohme site in your country. Merck Sharp & Dohme locations can be found at: http://www.mercksharpdohme.com/
  2. 2.) If there is not a Merck Sharp & Dohme site in your country, call the Merck National Service Center, in the United States at 1-800-672-6372. They will forward your request to the appropriate contact.

The Merck National Center will request the following information:

  • Requestor's name, agency, telephone, fax and e-mail address
  • Product shipping address, contact, telephone and fax numbers
  • Product name, strength, pack size, NDIC (catalog number)
  • Total quantity of product required · Copy of prescription, including diagnosis · Level of urgency
  • Regulatory/shipping/importation requirements

Note: Cuprimine and Syprine are prescription drugs and there distribution is regulated by U. S. law, and the laws of other countries. Please consult your physician and/or local officials for additional information about obtaining these medicines. The Wilson's Disease Association International is not a source for this information, nor does it dispense medication.

  2. You will be asked to supply certain information about the request.

MERCK PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
(U. S. Residents only)

If you are taking a Merck medicine, such as Syprine or Cuprimine, you may be eligible for Merck's Patient Assistance Program. All three of the following conditions must apply:

  1. You live in the United States and have a prescription for a Merck medicine from a doctor licensed in the United States and
  2. You do not have insurance coverage for your prescription medicine and
  3. You cannot afford to pay for your medicine.

If you believe you might qualify, call Merck at 1-800-727-5400 to request the "Patient Assistance Program" pamphlet and application.
